Our story

Nestled between the stunning Schiehallion mountain and the serene waters of Loch Rannoch is our little village - Kinloch Rannoch. Boasting beautiful trails, epic landscapes and nature aplenty there’s something for everyone in our corner of the world. So, what more could you ask for? Well, ‘a place for all to gather’ was the community cry! And so, the Rannoch Community Trust set out to deliver just that - The CornerStone was born.

H&H Construction have been appointed as the main contractors, working with our architects, StudioEast to deliver a space we can all be proud of. Building work commenced in June 2023, however, with many challenges discovered when taking on an old building, work fully commenced from February 2024 and will take around 1 year to complete. We hope that The CornerStone will be open for use in Spring 2025.

The aspiration for this venue is to become a flagship space for the community and beyond. To be a central point to gather, relax, eat, work and meet new people. Integral to this will be the support of our locals and we look forward to welcoming you all soon!
