The bar stays open right through, so once you've eaten there's no rush to leave — see bar hours. Walk-ins are always welcome when there's space, though it's worth booking ahead for weekends and event nights.

Three rooms, each with its own character — from the easy buzz of the bar to a quiet table by the stove or a bright seat under the glass. Wherever you settle, you'll find the same relaxed Highland welcome, whether you're here for a coffee, a long lunch, or dinner with friends.
Room 01
The Bar
Step through the front door and you're straight into the heart of it. Stone walls, herringbone floors and leather banquettes set the tone — relaxed, social, and unmistakably a Highland pub. This is the CornerStone's gathering place: somewhere to catch up, share a laugh, and feel at home whatever the weather outside.
It suits just about any moment — a coffee and a scone at the end of a walk, a quiet lunch at the bar, a lively Friday evening with friends, or a live music session with this month's band. Come as you are, and stay as long as you like.
Room 02
The Cosy Corner
Tucked off the main floor, the Cosy Corner lives up to its name. Deep terracotta walls, Windsor chairs and a wood-burning stove make it the room to head for on a winter evening or a rainy afternoon — slower, quieter, and made for proper conversation. There are games on the bookshelf, and dogs are welcome to stretch out by the fire.
With a handful of smaller tables, including round ones built for sharing, it's just right for an intimate dinner, a relaxed meal with the family, or a long catch-up with friends. It's a firm favourite, so it's worth booking ahead.
Room 03
The Winter Garden
All glass and green light, the Winter Garden brings the outside in. Floor-to-ceiling windows and a glazed roof open onto the garden and the trees beyond — bright and airy by day, and just the spot for a bit of Highland weather-watching when the clouds roll through. In summer the doors fold back and the room opens to the outdoors.
It's our most flexible space, with large tables that combine to seat bigger groups, which makes it a natural home for Sunday lunches, family weekends, community gatherings and celebrations. It's also where you'll find events like Open Mic Night. To book it for something of your own, just get in touch — we'd love to hear what you have in mind.
